Moss Drainage is a drainage engineering consultancy based in Manchester. Our engineers have built their expertise at leading civil and infrastructure consultancies across the UK, and now bring that knowledge directly to clients — without the overhead of a large firm.

We specialise in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and work with developers, architects, housebuilders and planning consultants on projects of all sizes, from single-plot extensions to large multi-phase residential schemes. Our clients span Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Cumbria and beyond.

What We Do

We design drainage networks that meet local authority requirements, water company standards and the latest national SuDS regulations. Our understanding of how planning authorities across the North West approach drainage conditions means we can anticipate requirements early and structure designs to get schemes approved without unnecessary delay.

Our services cover the full project lifecycle: from early-stage drainage feasibility studies and outline strategies to detailed hydraulic design, flood risk assessments, and support through the Section 104 adoption process. We can also provide site support during construction.
