We have over a decade of experience in flood risk management and production of Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) for planning and construction purposes, drawing on the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). We also deliver on schemes in Wales and have produced Flood Consequence Assessments (FCA) in accordance with TAN15.

We utilise the latest modelling packages to design drainage and flood risk features to accurately calculate earthwork requirements and can export these into InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage models to test the drainage network against climate change uplifts in accordance with requirements from the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA).

We can undertake topographical surveys on your site to understand the pre/post construction conditions. Surveys are critical for successful drainage design schemes and can be a requirement from planning. We can model the topographical survey against the proposed network to understand limitations and changes in the post-scheme design.

We have extensive experience with the water companies and their developer services teams to achieve quick turnarounds for agreements for adoptions of our proposed drainage networks, including adoption of SuDS.

Whether we need to discharge site flows away to a Main River (EA) or an Ordinary Watercourse (LLFA) we can provide compliant designs and mitigate against any downstream flood risk within our designs to achieve the right consents for the completion of the development.
